Holding his cell phone under his desk Steve texts to his friend Jake, “ omg did u here wht johnny got ystrdy?!?!,” hitting send he looks across the room watching Jake pick his phone up and read the text.
“ no y wht did he get ne thing gud?”
Steve waits for his the reply to come thru and quickly responds his thumbs flying over the tiny buttons, ' hhe got that new nintendo game and lke 4 games 4 it, we shuld c if hel let us play it instead of going sk8ting l8ter.” Waiting for Jakes reply he slides farther down in his seat avoiding his teacher gaze as she asks the room for a volunteers to read.
Sighing in relief as the girl in front of him is called he continues to text Jake back and forth waiting for the bell to ring. Hunching down each time the teachers gaze passes his way he switches to playing video games on his phone drowning out the lesson at hand.
When he looks up and see it's 5 minutes till class lets out he begins bundling up his belongings continuing to ignore the teacher as she speaks making sure he's ready to run out them moment the bell rings.
Walking thru his front door Steve throws his stuff on the floor and calls out to his mom letting her know he's home. Passing by her on her computer she waves to him letting him now it's take out for dinner tonight before she turns back to her on line game of bingo. Racing up the stairs and I into his own room he sits down at his computer logging into his favorite game greeting his friend.
“Hai guys wht r u up 2 tonight?”
